(Warning: A lot of babble coming up!)
Another week has flewn by and I’m still feeling like we haven’t really settled in yet. There’s nothing normal about daily life right now. It’s lovely and tiring and exciting and confusing.
It’s nothing specific – but I long for normal. Know what I mean?
Been falling asleep around 8-9 pm every evening just to wake up in the middle of the night laying wide awake for a few hours. I don’t even know why I’m sharing this ’cause there’s no explanation or reason or conclusion. It’s just how it is. (Actually, me falling asleep super early usually means that I’m stressed out but I really don’t feel stressed.)
I also long for wifi. Working from home without any real internet is just super hassle-y and is giving this impatient lady some grey hairs. Even my procrastination takes forever! I’ve also used up all data on my phone so speed has been reduced to ‘slow-as-poop’. #firstworldproblems #igotem
Luckily you don’t need super high speed internet to get some reading done. Hunger Games trilogy is very good so far. 8% in and loving it.
I also like how Kindle tells me how long it’ll take me to finish the whole thing. I’m all about seeing some progress, people.
I’m super into working toward my itty bitty goals at the moment, mainly ’cause I feel that they don’t get in the way of me being awesome and kicking some self-employed butt. In fact, I feel that doing these things will help me be awesome-er. (It’s a thing.) It’s stuff that makes me happy. Stuff to blog about. Useful stuff.
I know this feeling of I-can-do-it-all will fade once I get off track or the road gets bumpy. But right now I’m just riding this wave of ‘get shit done’.
Okay, that was a whole lot of talk. And it’s what’s currently whirling around in my happy head.
Thanks so much for stopping by, my friend. And tell me what’s currently whirling around in your head. I’d love to hear!
