Freebies

Goodbye 2013. And hello 2014.

hello2014

Hey gang.

I’ve been really busy and really silent on the blog front lately. But I need to close off what has ultimately been a great year (for blogging too) with a few words … and something special for you guys.

Mainly I want to say thank you to everyone who has read my blog, commented, used my freebies and bought something from my shop. Thank you for your support and love. It’s been quite overwhelming and every page view, every comment and every order warms my heart. I love the scrapbooking and paper crafting community so it feels great when I can contribute to it and help others with their memory-keeping.

It’s almost a year since I opened the Stromsvigt Etsy shop. I’m itching to make more products! I’m also itching to make more and better blog content and lots more freebies. And I’m still hoping to somehow change my work situation so that I have more time to do what I love and spend less time in a cubicle wishing the time away.

Speaking of freebies, I have something for all you Silhouette owners out there.

This is a 3×4 card you can cut and use for Project Life, pocket page albums or simply on a scrapbook page. There’s both a rounded corner version and a non-rounded one.

  • Hello Twenty 14 3×4 Card with Rounded Corners (PNG)
  • Hello Twenty 14 3×4 Card with Straight Corners (PNG)

These files are PNGs so you have to trace them in Silhouette Studio before they can be cut. Here’s a 2.5 minute video on how to trace JPGs in Silhouette Studio (JPGs and PNGs are traced the same way). Feel free to use these PNGs as you wish – maybe you want to use them as photo overlays in Photoshop.

Note: You may want to resize the graphics to be very slightly smaller than 3×4 inches in Silhouette Studio. For some reason, slightly smaller cards fit better in some pocket pages.

I put my card in the title page of my 2014 Project Life album. I’ll be posting all the details of how I’ll be doing PL 2014 on Friday.

So that’s it for 2013. I hope you had a great year and that 2014 will be amazing for all of us!

Thanks for being here. <3
