It’s like an adult coloring book – but better. It lets you take the wheel and steer in the creative direction of your choice. You are completely capable of drawing your own stuff, especially with a few (literal) guide lines.
Like Elizabeth Gilbert says in Big Magic: “Creativity is a crushing chore and a mystery,” and sometimes we deserve an easy creative win to give us some momentum for all our other (at times crushing) creative pursuits.
