Project Life | Weeks 40 through 42

Project Life // ninachristensen.dk

Hey gang.

Somehow it’s been three weeks since I shared my Project Life pages. Yikes. I’m caught up though, so let’s get to it!

First up is week 40 on the right. It’s a big mess but hey, that fits pretty well with our lives right now. Every weekend is filled with activities.

Here’s the Currently list for week 40. By the way, if you’re not familiar with Currently lists you should check out my links at the bottom of the post.

The Currently lists really help me tell my story. Admittedly, I don’t fill out the Currently cards on behalf of my little family. They’re from my personal perspective at the moment. Maybe it’ll change when Ada grows bigger and is able to participate more in documenting. Maybe Steffen want to fill these out at some point (I haven’t asked, by the way – I secretly enjoy having these to myself at the moment, heh). Or maybe I’ll just keep filling the cards out myself. We’ll see.

And onto weeks 41 and 42. I just dawned on me that I totally forgot to put the week numbers in there. Might add those later.

Anyway. As you can tell from the pale, sad-looking week 4o page on the left, it was not a fun week. I was in a rotten mood. Felt too busy, too much boring and time/energy consuming work. It’s not like it was the worst week of all time or anything, just very very blah. All work and no play makes Nina a dull girl, right?

I had more photos to share but didn’t was I wanted the Life.Love.Paper watercolor card with the Dislike-sentiments from Studio Calico to stand on its own.

And here’s my currently list for week 41.

It’s not all blah, though. I found this sweet discarded to-do page from my boyfriend’s Filofax between my Filofax refills. ‘Nina is sweet’ and a checkmark. How cute is that? I did a little journaling about how awesome he is on the insert.

Lets have a look at the other side of the insert. I stuck a ticket to Danland (big indoor swimming park) over a photo of Ada riding a pony. It’s been a big wish of hers to ride a horse (or pony) since earlier this year and we were finally able to grant it. <3

Week 42 was pretty darn great. We had a week off from work and went on fun trip.

You guys, I’m totally looking forward to trying the 12×12 Project Life next year. I’m finding that I have more and more to say and more photos I want to include now that I’m getting comfortable with Project Life. I know I’ve said it before but I’m itching to go big and it helps to talk about it. ;)

Here are some of the items I’ve purchased in preparation of next year’s Project Life:

I got the digital/printable versions of the kits listed above. I know now, after buying the Clementine Core Kit, that I can’t commit to using an entire kit. So I’d rather just print the cards I love from the collections and go from there. I know that I also want to include lots of scraps and make a ton of 3×4 cards myself.

Hope you’re doing well with your PL!

xo
Nina

[…] really love how this bigger format allows for more filler stuff. Sometimes the 6×8 I did before seemed so crammed. I love a bit of breathing […]
