Project Life

Project Life | Weeks 5 & 6

DSC_5197

Hey gang.

It’s time for another fortnightly Project Life update.

It’s also time to be totally honest: These were the first weeks (of many, I presume) I had to ‘catch up’ on. I practically made both spreads on yesterday. I already had the patterned cards and filler, but all photos were printed and journaling was written yesterday. Eek.

Being behind on Project Life is so stressful. Am I right? I wish I didn’t care that much but I guess anything you put this much time and effort into will feel like that. I really, really want to keep it up all year. Crossing all the things. :)

So, you’ve seen the week 5 spread up top. Let’s look at some close-ups.

I had the hardest time coming up with journaling. That’s my main issue when I get behind. I can’t remember ish. Thank God (or Kristin, really) for Currently List cards. Psst, the February Currently Card is out now so check that out. It’s a super pretty fuchsia!

I included a Colorful Week Number card as well. This photo doesn’t do the color justice, sadly. Had to take it with a flash. Boo.

Moving on from a muted earth-toney week 5 to a brighter week 6.

Still very sparse journaling but it’s better than none. Mhm.

I added clusters of embellishments on top of the page protectors. I love that look. Zero bulk inside the pockets.

I added the usual suspects: a Week Number card, a Currently List card and Good Words.

Occasionally I like to bring in a Best Thing card too to emphasize certain special memories.

These two spreads came together quite quickly. I’m having no trouble filling out an entire spread, I feel. I love having all that scrappy real estate this year.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I’ll see you soon!
