For June we’ll be playing with… sequins!
Here’s what I picked out as a starting point for my inspiration piece for June. I knew I wanted to do a colorful and bright summery page, so I chose to work with a classic white cardstock background. I’ve been challenging myself not to go white all the time lately, but it really is a wonderful base, am I right?
Below is a video of my process. It’s been up for few days for my YouTube subscribers to see. Subbers get a headstart on every mothly challenge. :)
And here’s my finished page.
I quite like this way of adding sequins, with the double sided tape I mean. I definitely need to play around some more with this technique. There’s still an element of randomness but way less hassle than adding the dots individually and it gives an interesting design.
Now, let’s see what my girls made this month. :)
Wonderful job, girls! I can see I’m not the only one who loves a bit of stark white cardstock to make the sequins pop. Yum!
And the winner is…
The winner of the May challenge is Trine Brandt-Lassen. Congratulations, my friend! :D
The super-sized and totally neat one-of-a-kind This Right Here stamp will be sent to you asap. I’ll contact you for an adress. :)
Thanks to the participants! <3 I hope you had a lot of fun and that you’ll join in the June sequin challenge.
That’s it for me tonight. Have a lovely rest-of-the-week, paper nerds!
