My Story

Currently List | Week 4 + I’m a Currently List ambassador!

currently_week04

Hey gang!

This week I’ve got some special news to share. I was picked by my brilliant friend Kristin to be an ambassador for the Currently List project here in 2014. Read Kristin’s blog post with the full announcement on her blog and check out the amazing company I’m in as an ambassador. Some of my absolute favorite bloggers & memory-keepers. #yay

There’s nothing better than getting to represent a project and an idea you really, truly believe in and LOVE. And I absolutely love Currently Lists. And here’s why:

I’ve never been totally comfortable with journaling. Not on my layouts, not in my Project Life. In fact, in the first year of scrapping 95% of my layouts didn’t have journaling. Some not even titles. It just doesn’t come naturally to me. Enter Currently Lists.

Currently Lists actually gave me enough confidence to start Project Life again. For many weeks my Project Life pages consisted of not much more than a list and some images. And it totally rocked. It was very freeing to simply jot down a word or two (or fifteen, if I had more to say) and that was it. I felt like I had recorded enough detail to justify doing Project Life but no so much that I couldn’t keep it up week after week.

It’s really made a change in how I document my everyday (and that of my family). I hope you’ll try it to. (And If you’re already listing, link me up in the comments. I love to read the lists!)

Get started listing

If you want in on the Currently List fun, you can get started right now! There’s no signing up, no required products you must buy/own. You don’t even have to be a scrapper. All you need is pen, paper and a love for documenting fun details about your life.

What I’d recomment to get started is this:

  • Download the free Original Currently Journaling card from rukristin.com
  • Print it and jot down your deets
  • Share on Instagram using #currentlylist
(and feel free to tag me @ninachristensen and/or @rukristin so we can check it out!)

Easy as that. That is how I got started.

How I use Currently Lists in my memory-keeping

I’ve chosen to use Kristin’s Currently card designs (physical and digital) for my lists. I love the repetitive, consistent look throughout my Project Life albums. And I love all the cute colors they come in!

I hope you’ll join in the fun! I so recommend this project for anyone who wants to save a little bit of their precious everyday life.

If you decide to join, you simply must drop by the Currently List Journaling Challenge Facebook group and share your list. And use the #currentlylist hashtag if you’re sharing on IG. We wanna see your list! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful, crafty Sunday.

xo Nina

Note: Currently Lists are my favourite way to document some of the most important things (big and small) from my everyday life. The precious details that we so easily forget. The Currently Lists Challenge is created by Kristin Tweedale of Rukristin.com. Check out Currently Lists on Instagram and the Currently Lists Facebook group. And join in with the free downloadable Original Currently Journaling Card. #currentlylist
