There’s just something really special about earth tones paired with blues.
I’ve been playing with unexpected color combinations in my watercolor studies and this is a new favorite. It’s grounded, mature and playful all at once. The fragility of the blue broken by the deep clay like umber with ochre accents. The purple gives it a finishing touch that’s very Nina.
It’s one of those things you just never know are gonna work before you give it a try.
When was the last time you tried something new that was surprisingly good?
Think about it for a second or two. It could be food, art, a place, an activity or something totally different. And if you feel like sharing you can do so below. I’d love to hear.
