Tonight I want to share a layout and a few new items from the shop.
I really love the ‘Worth A Thousand Words’ sentiment. It’s a perfect fit for so many of the photos I take. Plus I’m really bad at coming up with proper journaling so this is a neat shortcut. Hah!
I used the Solid Triangle stamp to create my own gold pattern to layer beneath my photo. I love how it looks in real life. The sharpness of the triangles is right up my alley. Crisp and beautiful.
I also used it to point to my tiny title in the top left corner. It really emphasizes it, stamped there in a single black impression. Oh how I love classic black stamping.
By the way, the background was made using a kickass technique I saw in a video by Celine Navarro. Just thinking and writing about it makes me want to get messy and make eight billion backgrounds. Nothing sets a layout off right like a good background. I love how the dramatic color wash gives direction and movement on the page. Pure awesome, Céline. Thanks for sharing!
And thanks to you for stopping by. Be sure to check out the shop. I also added new printable 3×4 cards, one of which I used in the layout to layer under the photo as well.
