Hey paper nerd!
It’s time for a brand new round of monthly challenges (and prizes!) for 2015.
We’re starting the year off with the new Pantone Color of the Year: Marsala. It’s the lovely brownish red I’ve used for my background in this month’s layout.
Here’s a video of my process.

I hope you enjoyed it. :) I’m seriously rusty in the video/voice-over/editing department after this long break but I’m excited to get back into it this year. I love watching crafting videos and reviews so I hope you’ll like what I have coming up.
Anyways. Onto some close-ups.
I just can’t get enough of that Heidi Swapp gold mist.
Mixing lots of patterns and bold colors somehow creates balance. When it’s done right it’s delicious!
A little wood veneer and a Project Life card – and there’s my title. So easy.
Now it’s your turn to create something lovely using the marsala color. If you don’t have anything in your stash that is a good match for marsala, try mixing mists (red and brown/black) or scout for patterned papers with bordeaux/aubergine colors in them. :)

The Marsala Nerdori comes with two lovely cahier size notebooks: A 2015 1st Quarter monthly planner from Yellow Paper House and a lilac Moleskine Journal with plain pages. It features a lovely metal rose charm on the belly band.
There’s still a little time to enter the December 12 in 14 Challenge with the theme ‘Me Right Now’, so hurry and link up your project. :)
Thanks for stopping by, friend. I’m looking so forward to seeing what you make.
xo Nina
