My beautiful friend Torrie (a.k.a. Fox & Hazel) started a fun, daily watercolor challenge at the beginning of April and I obviously had to join in.
I made this tall and skinny mini album by simple cutting my fave watercolor paper into small rectangles, punching holes and adding binding rings. It’s such a fun and different format. Even more so when turned on the side.
Here are my favorite pages from the April #foxandwatercolour Challenge.
I am the captain of my soul. I am the master of my fate.
Don’t stop believing.
Round. Round. Round.
Don’t really know how to feel about it.
Say my name.
Nina. Nina. Nina.
Change comes from experiencing the inevitable discomfort of becoming.
This is what it sounds like when doves cry.
There’s a May #foxandwatercolour Challenge going on RIGHT NOW. Be sure to jump in. It’s the perfect opportunity to experiment and play with watercolors. To learn and just have fun.
The great thing about making thirty of something is there’s bound to be at least a gem or two in there. At least. I didn’t end up loving every page but some I really, really dig.
Now. Have fun painting.

PS. Don’t get hung up on dates. They’re just there to keep you going. Feel free to jump in where you want, catch up (or don’t) and just enjoy the fun prompts.
PPS. Also, don’t get hung up on having to have a complete album. I didn’t finish every prompt and who cares, right? Do the ones that speak to you.
I love it!!!
Thanks Luisa! :D
